Our Home Visit Services

Home visits for wax removal or hearing tests can be arranged for those who are not mobile, or who are unable to leave the house.

We provide home visits for clients in their own homes as well as care homes and retirement villages. We can also work alongside family members to ensure the best outcome, and answering any questions or concerns raised.

Home visits are an integral part of our personalised hearing care service, as we recognise that there are a large number of people who find it difficult to attend appointments due to their health and or mobility and can not always rely on other people or services to get to appointments.

It often negates the usefulness of a persons hearing aid when they are unable to get it serviced or repaired or have wax removed from their ears. When left without hearing for a long time, or if a persons hearing is not consistently managed - studies have shown it can result in social isolation, loss of confidence, memory difficulties and anxiety or mental health problems for the individual.

Using a private service can mean the difference between waiting days, rather than weeks or months for an appointment. For our clients, this means that they can swiftly return to enjoying a better quality of life. Enjoying the sounds around them, whether listening to the birds or their favourite tv or radio show. Also, enabling them to remain a part of the conversation, whether that be with family, friends or social events.

Additional call out fees for Wax removal Home visits apply. For more information see our Home Visit Prices.

Home visit appointments can be paid via cash or credit/debit card, or a family member can call us to arrange payment.

For people who are able to leave the house, but do not have a car or find it hard to use public transport, we recommend Newbury Volunteer Driver and Car Scheme.

Please note that we have limited appointments for home visits each week.
