Tracy James Hearing Wins Best Independent Retailer Award!

Oh what a night!

Its Friday 4th April 2025 at 6:30pm and we at Tracy James Hearing are just arriving at Newbury Racecourse for the champagne welcome reception at the Newbury Weekly News Best in Business Awards 2025!

Tracy is joined by Husband Matt, Administrator Gemma and friends Claire and Fran. (Louise Hart, although poorly and unable to join us tonight, is very much with us in spirit)

Nervous excitement is building as all the guests arrive.

Tracy James Hearing was nominated for 3 awards this year…

Best Customer Experience (a category where we were a finalist last year in 2024!)
Best Business Innovation
Best Independent Retailer

…and shortlisted as a FINALIST for two of them….

…and that is why we are here this evening.

Soon, we are ushered into the awards hall to take our seats to enjoy a three course meal alongside entertainment from Britains Got Talent Choir VoxFresh.

The Main Event

The choir are cheered at the end of their fantastic performance and compere Thomas Forester approaches she stage, signalling the start of the main event!

As the awards get underway, we start to get those butterflies in our tummies! Then, just a few awards in, the moment arrives!

Thomas introduces the first of the two awards that Tracy James Hearing is nominated for, the anticipation is building and Tracy awaits with bated breath as Thomas introduces each finalist in the category. Tracy James Hearing is the last name to be called out before the winner is announced….

Although we did not win the second award, there were more accolades to come for Tracy James Hearing. Just a short while after we were announced as the winners of the Best Independent Retailer Award, we were honored by the following words on stage from Jeff Brooks….

“I’m standing here and I can hear you all thanks to the hearing aids i’m wearing from Tracy James”
